Nic and Becca originally met at a friend's house, but they didn't really start talking until about 6 months later. Becca had gone dancing with some friends and saw a group of young adults from church across the room. After going over to say hi to a friend, she was introduced to the rest of the group and Nic was quick to ask her to dance. Becca was charmed by his friendliness, humor, and of course great dance moves. She told a friend later that night that she would definitely say yes to a date if he asked. The Lord had other plans for the time being and a month went by with little contact between the two of them. But then, on March 15th, they both wound up at the same dance hall once again. This time, Nic and Becca really hit it off and spent a good portion of the night talking. He had recently broken his arm but that didn't stop him from asking her to dance. They say guys with two left feet come out alright if the girl is sweet, and the same is true for guys with one broken arm, at least in Nic's case. Nic didn't ask Becca out that night but did come say hi at church that weekend. She told him she'd be going dancing the next Friday in the hopes that he would be there as well. Thankfully, he showed up and after some more three-armed dancing, asked Becca to dinner. The rest, as they say, is history and proves that the best things truly happen while you dance.
