Nick and I have been best friends since high school, and have been part of each other’s lives ever since. We have watched and helped each other grow through our highs and our lows, from teenagers to adults. We've had a special bond since day one, and have been inseparable since! “It’s never luck or fate, it’s Allah’s perfect plan”

On December 30, 2022, I was visiting my best friend from my college town, Carly, for a simple girls weekend. Little did I know, Nick was planning the surprise of my life! As Carly and I were returning to her house from going out to dinner, I was left breathless from what was awaiting me outside. As I looked up from my phone, and out the car window, I saw balloons, a red carpet lined with candles, and rose pedals that led down an aisle to beautiful lights spelling out "Marry Me.” I was left truly breathless with no words to describe my sense of pure joy. At the end of that aisle was Nick … waiting for me … holding a beautiful bouquet of roses. I anxiously made my way down the aisle (crying tears of happiness with each step) once I finally made it to Nick. He greeted me with his big infectious smile, and I automatically felt like the luckiest girl in the world. Nick then got on one knee and opened up a ring box to reveal the most stunning ring I could have ever dreamed of. Before he was even able to finish the question "will you marry me,” I eagerly shouted “YES.” And just like that, I was engaged to my best friend. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at our wedding!
