Niagara Falls
No trip to the region is complete without seeing the iconic falls. Fun fact: Anh once visited Niagara Falls with some aunties from her church in Ottawa (back when Nick was still a secret!), and somehow they managed to miss dinner at the Skylon Tower—then the boat tour! It turned out to be one of the most unforgettable trips, even though it didn't go exactly as planned :) Needless to say, Niagara Falls is definitely worth a visit.
Ball's Falls Conservation Area
Ball's Falls is a stunning area to check out while you're in the area. Nestled in the heart of the Niagara Escarpment, it offers spectacular scenery and natural beauty, with many walking trails, a charming little historic village, and—true to its name—some beautiful waterfalls.
Niagara-on-the-Lake
This charming town is just a short drive from Ball's Falls and is perfect for a relaxing day trip, with its flower-lined streets, quaint boutiques and local vineyards.
Wineries
The Niagara Region is home to world-class wineries, where you can enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the spectacular landscapes. Many of these vineyards also offer tours, giving you a chance to learn about the winemaking process and sample some local favourites.
