Bethel Ogbuehi

Maid of Honor

Sister of the Bride

Jamila Young

Bridesmaid

On August 2004 I walked on to Mercer University's campus and didn't realize I would meet my forever BFF, Udo (some of you know her as Amara)! Udo and I have had some of the greatest adventures, best times, and even have become family. A few years later, I met Nick and we clicked since day 1. Immediately, I knew they were a match made in heaven and that my bestie had found her love. Together, the memories I've spent with Nick and Udo have been priceless and who can forget how we got "iced" in during the ATL Snowmageddon in 2013 lol!! These two are amazing to not only me, but to my son and their godson, Tre. I couldn't be happier for the both of them!

Olawunmi Bakare

Bridesmaid

Udo (Amara) and I have been friends since we met at Mercer University‘s Minority Mentor Retreat back in 2004. As children of Nigerian immigrants, we instantly bonded on our shared upbringings. We were even roommates junior year. After Junior year we lost touch when Udo left. Years later, we reconnected at Kennesaw University and have been inseparable since. As a bridesmaid, I'm looking forward to helping Udo and Nick with whatever they need and dancing the night away with all of their friends and family. Can't wait to celebrate with everyone on the big day!"

Jennifer Azih

Bridesmaid

My name is Jennifer and I met Nick and Amara a lifetime ago at the real GSU. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know each of them individually as well as getting to know them as a couple. When you’re around them it’s joy, laughter, banter, and red flags lol. They balance each other, they support each other, and they challenge each other. It has been a beautiful journey watching their love for each other grow and mature. I am so grateful and blessed to be able to witness my favorite couple walk into this new chapter, and I trust that this is a beginning of blessings for them. I love you guys.

Khamani Robinson, M.D.

Bridesmaid

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia but relocated to New York 4 years ago as I entered into my dream career as a Pediatrician. I have known Nick and Amara for over a decade. We met at Georgia State University and due to their welcoming spirit, we have been the greatest of friends since 2010. We shared so many laughs, late night monopoly nights, and spontaneous adventures. It’s a pleasure knowing NickandAmara (truly inseparable). I can’t say Nick without Amara and Amara without Nick. I am so happy for this union and can’t wait for us to celebrate them!

Ibiye Amaso

Bridesmaid

IB met Nick and Amara in Uni. Though you probably could not tell now, IB actually met Nick before she met Amara. She met Nick through a mutual friend in a study group and as they forged a friendship, Nick introduced IB to Amara. IB and Amara instantly clicked and became fast friends, so much so that Amara was a bridesmaid in IB’s wedding in Nigeria, of course Nick was also in Nigeria to support! IB notes that It’s been a blessing to have a relationship with such an amazing couple that is able to offer sound advice and support over the years. Through life’s blessings, challenges, career changes and suburban living (it was an honor to have the Mulkeys visit IB outside of the perimeter LOL), they have rooted and prayed for each other. Relationships like that are hard to find and even harder to nurture long term. IB thanks God for their friendship and looks forward to their union.

Charis Gomez

Bridesmaid

Charis had the pleasure of meeting the bride and groom at Georgia State University. During their time in college they quickly grew close making fond lifetime memories, sharing gutt busting laughs and celebrating milestones along the way. Through the years, Nick and Amara’s strong bond and love for one another has been a constant inspiration. Charis is so grateful for their undying support and friendship that have stood the test of time and physical distance.

Krystal Haggins

Bridesmaid

I met Nick and Amara back in 2011 while attending Georgia State University. We all clicked immediately and shared tons of laughs and hilarious moments! Over the years we’ve grown to be really good friends and can pretty much talk about anything. I’ve always been able to go to them for advice, or if I just need to get out and have fun ! Lol I wish them the best on their continued journey together 🤍

Alexandria Harris

Bridesmaid

Alexandria “Allie” is a business professional and actress. She met Nick and Amara while working at the apartment complex Nick and Amara lived at while attending Georgia State University. Allie became fast friends with the couple, and all maintained their friendship over the years. Nick and Amara are like family to Allie and her family; and she is thrilled and honored to participate in their wedding.

Coreen Face

Bridesmaid

August 6th is the day both Coreen and Amara were born, so obviously they were destined to meet through mutual friends many years ago and hit it off. Coreen and Amara + Nick have bonded over many special events including, but not limited to, deciding which bear spray to buy for a hike and being arms length distance from a Buffalo walking by their car. But mostly they enjoy great talks and laughs over a drink like normal people :)

Sean Mulkey

Best Man

Nick is my younger brother, and I've met Amara over a decade ago through him. It's always amazing to witness the immense love that they show one another in their own dope way.

Devante Ingram

Groomsman

Nick is the cousin/big bro, from staying up all night playin videos games to the football field. I met Amara when I visited GSU one weekend and the chemistry i've seen they had was special ever since.

Kharee Postell

Groomsman

I’ve known Nick since elementary school, maybe 3rd or 5th grade, but I wouldn’t say we were friends at that point though…loose associates. The friendship was cultivated through Dragonball Z and chess during our middle school years. Fast forward to college and I was introduced to Amara I believe our sophomore year at GSU and she’s been family ever since…

Terrance Carson

Groomsman

I’ve known Nick since I was 9 years old at Northside elementary summer camp. He is someone I consider my first best friend. Although we went to different schools growing up, we kept in contact & remained pretty close friends. I met Amara shortly after she & Nick started dating & she has been a beautiful addition to his life since day one. She’s always very welcoming & warm to me & whomever I bring along. These two make a wonderful couple that is a beacon of light for warm-hearted, community loving people to flock to. I am extremely excited to see what heights their union can take them to.

Ndidi Akuta

Groomsman

Met Nick in middle school, when we were very young. Took classes and played sports together in high school. We went do different cities for college but kept in touch. Always a great time when we fellowship. Met Amara through Nick of course on a trip to Georgia State to hang out with my Albany cronies. She was very nice and coincidentally of Igbo heritage, similar to me.

Justin Windom

Groomsman

Guess what? I met my lifelong friend Nick in high school during sports, and we've been inseparable ever since! And brace yourselves, because in college at Georgia State, I met another incredible person named Amara. These two are truly amazing individuals. Feeling blessed!

Nnamdi Azih

Groomsman

I met Nick and Amara in 2009 at Georgia State. During the earlier years of college all of us were nearly inseparable. We studied together, prayed, partied together and even started a non-profit together. For a young shy kid who had never been away from home I was humbled and blessed to have them around. I knew then the same thing that I know now; they are two of the most pure hearted human being I have ever met and I’m excited to be a part of this union.

Carl Kananda

Groomsman

I met Nick in college in 2011 through his good friend, Justin "Jug". Jug often talked about his driven friend named Nick, and I was excited to finally meet him. We quickly bonded over our interest in football and our determination to make the most of our Georgia State University experience. We went through the Georgia State Football team walk-on tryouts together and formed a lifelong friendship from there. Shortly after meeting Nick, he introduced me to Amara, whose brother I met and was friends with through playing football. We hit it off right away. I am excited to be part and celebrate a union that intentionally blends people, cultures, and communities.

Tobias Harris

Groomsman

I’m not sure when I met Nick & Amara. They were just there one day. And then every day. It’s been this way for about a decade now. They’ve been with me through some of the toughest and most joyous moments of my life. It’s good to have friends who become family and there some of the best family you could ask for. Love you guys.

Pierce Walker III

Groomsman

It’s been about a decade since I met Nick while we were both working at Invest Atlanta… how time flies. Soon after, I had the pleasure of meeting Amara who is his match in every way. It’s been an awesome journey to see them grow and create the life they have. I am truly grateful to have them in my life. Here’s to a beautiful wedding. Much love y’all.
