Question

Where is the wedding being held? Will there be different locations for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Evergreen Lake House located at 29612 Upper Bear Creek Rd, Evergreen, CO 80439.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is very limited at Evergreen Lake House, so carpooling or utilizing the hotel shuttle service is highly recommended. See transportation options for more info.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 4pm to ensure you have plenty of time to make your way to the main deck and find a seat before the ceremony starts.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail or semi-formal attire is preferred. Regardless, we recommend dressing comfortably and being prepared for a range of weather conditions as it is an indoor/outdoor event in late spring (it will likely be warm during the ceremony and get cooler after the sun goes down).

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome. We will have some kid-friendly games and activities during cocktail hour and the reception. We can't promise everything will be PG but we will do our best to make sure everyone is on their best behavior!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we wish we could accommodate any number of guests, we had to carefully create our guest list with budgetary considerations and venue rules. If we have accounted for you to bring a plus one (or your whole family), your save the date and/or formal invitation will indicate such. Otherwise, please just bring yourself :)

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

When the formal invitations are sent out, there will be a place for you to indicate food allergies and dietary restrictions.
