It all started in November 2019. All with the click of a button. We stayed up until 5 am texting back and forth and then two days later we met face to face. I (Addison) had to lie to my mom on Thanksgiving day and tell her that I was going black Friday shopping with a friend when in reality I was going to meet a boy I met online. The days and weeks had gone on, and soon I realized that he was the one. They say, when you know, you know, right? We moved in together in 2020, have since gotten a puppy and now we get to plan our wedding together. I cannot wait to become his (Nicholas') wife

We all know I (Addison) love sunsets, so that's just what I thought we were doing, going to see another sunset. Little did I know what was about to happen. A mile & a half hike later, in the heat, up some hills, we made it to the sunset. Funny story.. We had passed some trees that had names engraved from previous people and I had made the comment, "If you ever ask me to marry you when I am hot and sweaty, I will say no." While sitting and watching the sunset, which was probably the most beautiful of them all, I started to hear a guitar play behind me that was playing our song "Say you won't let go" & I looked behind me and was his friend and then I looked back in front of me and he (Nicholas) was on one knee, had a whole speech going and all I remember was "Addison will you marry me?" & I, of course, said yes even after my previous comment that was just 20 minutes prior.
