We’re getting married!

After moving to Minnesota right before the start of Senior year, in 2017. Nick and I had only two classes together, English and Economics. Within the first week of class our English teacher assigned us each to write a paper bag speech. At this time I never really noticed Nick I mostly kept to myself, but in his words he was amazed by the first sight of me. Days go by and it is time to give our speeches. It was when I had given my speech that Nick decided he needed to get to know this beautiful girl. On Thursday the 14th of September he approached me after school and asked if I would wear his jersey for Homecoming and gave me His number. I was overjoyed! A boy asked me to wear his jersey! I got home that evening and decided to text this boy, I did not know of his name at this time. I got no reply. Little did I know that his Phone was broken. So the next day I was too shy and didn’t want to approach him so I waited for him to approach me. At the end of the day in our last class together he had planned to talk to me and let me know what was wrong with his phone. But he had gotten in trouble in class and had to stay after. Later that evening I got home and got a random Snapchat message from this boy with no name. Nick had asked friends and friends of friends to find my Snapchat so he could talk to this beautiful girl. We texted all weekend long most of the time without stop. Later I did learn of this boys name and this boy later became my Fiancé.

After 2 years of dating on December 9th 2019. We originally planned to go that night to a local drive/walk through Christmas Light show. But we later found out that they were closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We had gotten home from a long day and were both exhausted. After both of us got comfy Nick says let’s go watch a movie and turn on the Christmas lights. Nick never asks to turn the Christmas lights on. Then after I sat down about to put a movie on he says let’s go take a walk. Now at this time it was -2 degrees outside, but I agreed. We bundled up. Him in one later and a jacket and me in my five layers. We walked around our Apartment buildings for a bit and saw apartments and townhomes lit up in Christmas lights underneath a starry sky. This is where Nick popped the question and I think you know how the rest of the story goes.
