This is a staple in our area! The Norway/Vulcan mine is a great way to beat the heat and see what is was like as an iron ore miner in the early days of town. Located 9 miles east of Iron Mountain-- not too far from the Norway High School. Fun fact: Ada's great-grandfather was an iron ore miner in Bessemer, MI!
