It all started on a cold night the last day of Fall Semester 2012. My friends and I lived at the Delta Zeta house and wandered over to the only fraternity house on sorority row. When we showed up we were the only girls there because we had unknowingly crashed a brotherhood event. They let us stay but the temperature kept dropping so I ran back home and grabbed my new XXXL hunter orange with teal accent Patagonia jacket. When I went back to the Pi Kappa Phi house, Nick approached me and said, "You're killing it in that Patagonia." We talked all night and exchanged numbers. The rest is history.

I had retreated into a monastic lifestyle avoiding the fraternity house all semester. With finals behind me and feeling a little restless, I decided to check out Pi Kapp. With the kegs floated, I noticed the same old DZs walk in, but this time something was different. There was a smoke show in a neon hunting jacket made for jabba the hut. Having a thing for older women, I approached her. Thinking she was already graduated or at least a fifth year, I told her she was killin it in that Patagonia poncho. We talked for the rest of the night and exchanged digits. The next day while driving I thought what better time to text her. And here we are today.

We were hiking up to a viewpoint in Fujiyoshida, Japan to overlook Mt. Fuji. The clouds were blocking our view, but Nick noticed a quick break in the clouse and quickly Nick set up the tripod so we could take a picture of the two of us. When Leslie turned around Nick was on one knee and asked Leslie to marry him. We celebrated with sake and sushi! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
