Due to Covid, we met the same way most people nowadays meet, online. However, our first day was something very special, Applebees. Nicholas apparently wanted to get drunk off of the dollar drinks, though they didn't have the dollar drinks so they couldn't get drunk. After dinner we went on a "walk" through the woods and climbed an abandoned pool. We eventually got to a lookout over San Dimas where we had our first kiss watching the city lights at night. Walking back to the car, we saw a tarantula and I almost pulled Nicholas's arm off in fright. From that night on, Nicholas became known as "Tarantula Guy" to my friends and the rest is history.

As a queer couple, this was always something that we weren't entirely sure how to handle. Who proposes to the other? We quickly realized that we both wanted to be proposed to so we made the promise that we would both propose to the other. Christopher ended up proposing first in December of 2022 with Nicholas proposing on Valentine's Day of this year. We both got our dreams made of being proposed to!
