We met at "Royals", Royal Skate Shop which is a local venue for different genres of music. By no surprise, we met at a hardcore show. Our love of beer and hardcore music brought us together. We slowly became friends, and eventually, I told him I would never turn down food, and yes that was my version of flirting. We went out a few days after that and the rest is history.

I knew it would be coming, I had no idea how soon, or when or how. It was the night of our "Friends Christmas Party", I was preparing the house and preparing the food for all of our friends to arrive. All of a sudden, Nick goes "Babe! Can you come here?". Here I am thinking.. oh god.. what now.. I have stuff to do... And I turn around the corner to see him down on one knee, with Jamesen right beside me.
