What events are planned for the weekend?

We will be having a welcome party on Friday, November 14th! This will be held at Boatyard in Fort Lauderdale from 5:00-8:00pm. Our wedding will take place on Saturday, November 15th at 4:30pm in Pompano Beach.

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

As many have already chosen to stay at various locations, we do not have a room block and have decided to leave it up to our guests desires and budgets. Please visit our Travel Information page for hotel suggestions!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

You may arrive as early as 4:00pm and our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please note if you arrive earlier than 4:00pm our upstairs event space will not be available to enter, but feel free to enjoy a cocktail at the bar downstairs or enjoy the views surrounding you! We encourage an arrival time between 4:00-4:30pm. Our venue is located on the second floor of Oceanic and is accessible by both stairs and an elevator. *If you are coming from Fort Lauderdale, please note that our venue is by the ocean, which may result in beach traffic. We recommend allowing at least 20-25 minutes of travel time, but please check your maps on the day of to confirm.*

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our venue has limited space and we are only able to accommodate adults. We also ask that only the guests listed on the invitation attend. We hope you understand!

What is the dress code for the events?

Answer

For the Welcome Party, as it is located at an upscale restaurant, the requested attire for the ladies is a dress of any length or dressy jumpsuits. For the men, slacks or chinos with a button-up or polo. The attire for the wedding is Coastal Formal, so bring your best! Cocktail or floor length dresses for the ladies and suits for the gentlemen, though ties are optional. Dress to feel elegant, comfortable, and ready to dance by the sea! As we will be by the ocean, lightweight fabrics and coastal-inspired colors are encouraged.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Our venue is located in a public beach area. If you choose to drive, there is a parking garage and a public parking lot located within walking distance of the venue; however, we would recommend utilizing ride share!

Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors, with the reception to follow in a relaxed al fresco setting that blends indoor and outdoor spaces. All spaces will be provided with adequate covering in the event of rain.
