After Christmas in 2012, I had a gift card to Best Buy. I needed new stereo speakers and thought it was fitting to go buy some- you know, adulting. Amidst the crazy hustle and bustle of Christmas returns, I saw Jacob. He talked with me about what I wanted and was then on a mission to find them. The whole time he helped me, I couldn't help myself from trying to flirt with him. We ultimately parted way at the end of the transaction and all i had was a name. So, off I went to find him on Facebook! I searched for "Jacob + Best Buy'' and I couldn't believe it actually pulled him up! A few days later I was out with friends to the movie theater. I went outside to take a phone call and I couldn't believe my eyes. There comes Jacob, walking in with a group of friends to the movies. I hollered at him and said "Hey! You're that guy that sold me, speakers!" Jacob recognizes me and in the moment of realization he was actively trying to spit- it ended up all down the front of his shirt. I laughed. Later that night I received a Facebook message from Jacob, stating "Well, that was utterly embarrassing." We then talked for hours. We continued to talk every day until Jacob asked me on our first date. The most memorable first date I ever had. The rest was history.
