Ervin (Tori) and Nichelle (Nikki) met 11/19/2006 while at work. Tori was a rookie cop and Nikki was an ER Tech. On the night they met, Nikki had a patient who was stabbed by his wife. Due to the nature of the injury Nikki had to call the police. The police officer that showed up was Officer Tori Neal. Nikki had noticed Officer Neal before but had not seen him in a while. As Tori was leaving the hospital Nikki seized the moment to say hi. The two exchanged numbers and talked until phone batteries died. The two realized they had so much in common. They developed an amazing relationship and most important a great friendship. Tori and Nikki dated for years then decided that friendship would be best at that moment in their lives. Nikki went on to become a nurse and Tori a detective. They kept in contact for a while, but after a few years and life situations that contact was lost. One day during the covid pandemic they had a chance encounter and the friendship was back like it never left. Eventually, their relationship was rekindled and they welcomed baby Kennedi into the world. On September 22, 2023, the couple became engaged.
