Will there be transportation to the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing transportation to and from Homewood Suites. If you are staying elsewhere you will need to provide your own transportation either to the hotel or to the venue. Schedules will be provided at a later date.

What is the attire?

Answer

Our wedding is cocktail attire, and for September in Virginia we suggest: knee-length, midi, or maxi cocktail dresses or formal jumpsuits; and dress shirts and jackets for men - ties optional.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your kiddos, we have decided to keep our wedding as adults-only with the exception of any in our bridal party!

Will I be allowed to take pictures during the wedding?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired amazing professionals to capture the most important moments of our lives, and we would hate to have a persons phone/device blocking that moment. After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we receive them afterwards.

Where should I park if not using transportation provided?

Shadow Creek has a large parking lot open to all of our guests, it is right out front you can't miss it!
