anna & nicole first met through a shared love of running, shortly after nicole's move to new hampshire in 2020. they quickly became inseparable, sharing ski, run, and dog adventures together on an almost-daily basis until nicole's move to colorado. anna is best known for: being the biggest cheerleader to those around her, rocking all-pink-everything like nobody else can, and loving unconditionally.

sarah was nicole's first friend in new hampshire, and her primary long run (read: sufferfest) partner for the 4 years they spent together. sarah quickly became the "yes" friend for any and all crazy, difficult, and often stupid plans or ideas. sarah is best known for being the best company on run, ski, climb, or bike trips of any length or level, inspiring everyone around her with absurd amounts of tenacity and grit, and mom-ing two of the coolest kids in the world (and often mom-ing our friend group, too...)

zoe is *infectiously* joyful, and she brings that to every run, ski, climb, bike, etc. she is not only the friend who (veryyyy patiently) taught nicole how to nordic ski, but she might also be roe's favorite ski partner (don't tell anna that). zoe's superhero strengths are laughing and smiling in any situation, being casually athletic at any sport she tries, and being the token talented artist in our friend group.

jen and nicole have been friends for nearly 10 years. they first met at a crossfit gym in vermont, and despite multiple moves between the two of them, they've stayed as close as when they used to see each other every day for crossfit & brunch. their shared love of weightlifting, running, good food, and dogs has led to hundreds of miles shared together on mountains, in new cities, and on morning dog walks. jen is most thought of as: the kind of friend who says, "yes" to 3am mountain runs every friday for a whole year, the most unprepared running company you've ever had (she will never bring her own water, so be warned), and the person most likely to consistently send a, "hey, thinking of you" text

alex is nicole's oldest friend, and she often wonders how he has managed to put up with her for 25+ years. alex and nicole grew up together, somehow never growing apart, and instead growing in similar directions. alex and nicole have gone on cross-country road trips together, rode in mountain bike races together, and even manage to talk on the phone sometimes despite nicole's atrocious long-distance communication. he *probably* would've been in the wedding either way, but it feels important to mention that nicole was in alex's wedding party a few years ago... :D :D :D
Best Man
Nick met David seven years ago, when he went to Utah with a group of friends to learn dog training from David (and to pick up puppies). David's dog, Ikar, had just broken David's ankle in bitework. Upon being asked what dog David was going to have Nick learn bitework with, he immediately said Ikar. In that moment, Nick knew that David would be his best man someday... Without the mentorship, friendship, and support from David, Nick wouldn’t be 1/8 of the dog trainer he is now.

Nick met Fernando a few years ago, when he started to get serious about learning how to work dogs. During Nick's first time working with Fernando (a French Ring legend, if you don't know him), the most memorable part of that experience was Fernando watching Nick decoy and saying, “That was super bad”, followed later by, “If you can’t esquive this dog, you might as well be flipping burgers at McDonalds” (Nick did not esquive the dog). From then on, Nick knew that he could count on Fernando to be honest with him in all areas of life, which he greatly appreciated. Since then, Nick has been to France several times to learn from and visit Fernando, and they have created amazing memories and a strong friendship.

aka "The Doctor." "Professor." Eric and Nick met at a seminar around 2020. They share jiujitsu as a hobby, and as everyone knows, when you start talking jiujitsu you essentially become best friends. Eric has been a friend, a mentor, and a training partner in several disciplines. All of Nicole and Nick's memories in Hawaii are thanks to Eric and his wife Iwa.

Nick has known and been close with Dana for 10 years. How she has remained his friend after all the stress he has put her through, we're all unsure. Dana and Nick have traveled the country competing at jiujitsu tournaments together, worked dogs together, and now they've added skiing together to their resume. Dana also has the first biting dog, Kaya, that Nick trained on his own. Dana: you trusted Nick with Kaya, and in return he is trusting you to be in his wedding!

Margaret has been one of the strongest forces of change in Nick's life, both as a functional fitness coach and as a friend. Nick has known Margaret since he was 18 years old, and she’s believed in him since then. No matter what Nick is doing, he knows that Margaret will be in his corner making him the strongest and healthiest version of himself, for whatever endeavor he's pursuing.
