Staying in Walker? The park is right on the shores of Leech Lake and has a boat launch, nice swimming beach, playground, basketball court, tennis court, etc.  A great place to take the kids to swim or play.

Spend some time shopping the Walker downtown area, Jenny & Co is Molly's favorite store and Reed's Sporting Goods is Nic's.

One of our favorite spots to go for a swim. Small beach next to a boat launch. Like the name says, this is a beautiful sand bottom lake.  The bluegill are also very friendly and will swim around your feet and eat crackers from you.
