Squam Lakes Natural Science Center
Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is an environmental education center and zoo founded in 1966. The Patten kids spent time here during the summers. Here you will see all native animals to the region. A nice walk through natural settings.

Go for a Run to Bean Road
From the Windfall House where the ceremony will be held to Bean Road, it is 1.5 Miles.

Take a boat ride or paddle in a kayak to yard island.

Hike West Rattlesnake Mountain
Easy Hike about 25 minutes up with a great view of the lake. View on our main webpage is from here! Trailhead begins on Route 113 with parking across the road on the west side of Route 113. Hike Eagle Cliff
Hike this short steep trail about 25 minutes up also with a great view of the lake. Trailhead begins on Bean Road on the east side of the road. You can park on the east side shoulder of the road near the trailhead. See Alltrails.com for more details.
