We met each other while we were in physical therapy school in California. We started off in the same group of friends that loved going to country concerts, would go to the beach to play volleyball, and hit up the breweries on the weekends. After a few semesters went by, we became closer and started going on runs together and became study buddies.

Our day started off with our normal routine of playing volleyball and coming home to make lunch. Later that day, we headed to go to Coronado beach with Nic's sister Jazzy and her boyfriend Brodie to hang out and enjoy the afternoon with some drinks and a charcuterie board. Nic and I got up to take a picture and the next thing I know he turns me around and said he loved me and got down on one knee. Later that night, we had plans to go to a new restaurant in our neighborhood and when we walked in Nic had organized a dinner with some of our closest friends here in San Diego. It was a great night of celebrating.
