MANDATORY COVID REQUIREMENTS

The Wedding Website of Nicole Bruno and Kevin Barnes
We greatly appreciate the efforts you are all making to attend our day. Below are the New York State MANDATORY COVID requirements for our wedding. These guidelines will be routinely updated as new information arises. _____ UPDATES AS OF MAY 10, 2021 *Guests will be REQUIRED to have and show a negative PCR COVID test within 72 hours of the event. This rule will be strictly enforced. The event starts at 3 PM on May 16th, therefore the earliest guests can get tested would be 3 PM on May 13th. This will be checked via CrowdPass (see below) *If you are fully vaccinated, you do not have to get tested, but will have to be cleared through CrowdPass (your final vaccination must be given at least 14 days prior to the event, otherwise you will need to still show a negative COVID test).
Question

What is CrowdPass?

Answer

You will receive an email before the wedding with a link to CrowdPass. This website will be used to check your vaccination cards and negative test results upon arrival. How this will work is you will set up an account before the wedding day with basic information (this will be emailed to you directly before the event). Your vaccine card or negative test results can be uploaded directly to this website by taking a picture. The day of the event, you will use your phone to scan a QR code that will be posted around the venue lobby. After scanning, you will receive an immediate email letting you know that you are cleared to enter! This process will help minimize your “check in” time the day of. There will be MANY staff members located throughout the lobby to help guests with this process, especially with guests who do not have cell phones. You can also register on the website the day of the event, it is just easier to do it beforehand! THE LINK IS: app.crowdpass.co/auth/258

Question

Does my “3 day before testing” have to be in New York?

Answer

No, your negative PCR test can be administered in any US state, as long as it is still taken within 72 hours of the event (reminder that a test taken 73 hours before the event, will not be accepted). If you are traveling, be mindful of the time changes as the rules apply to EASTERN STANDARD TIME ONLY. Example: If traveling from California, your PCR test must be administered no sooner than Thursday, May 13th @ 12 PM PACIFIC TIME.

Question

What if I had COVID within the last 90 days?

Answer

If you have had COVID and are going for a PCR test, you may still test positive before the event (even though you are no longer contagious). A doctor's note will be accepted. We recommend reaching out to your physician to have a doctor’s note ready in case you still test positive.

Question

Traveling from out of the country into the US?

Answer

Please refer to your designated country’s quarantine and COVID testing requirements. A negative test will still be required.

Question

Traveling from out of state within the US?

Answer

Please refer to https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory for all updated guidelines. As of April 1st, there is no quarantine requirement when entering New York, but a negative test is still required to attend our wedding.

Question

Will masks be required even though I am vaccinated?

Answer

YES - masks and social distancing will be required for both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests during both the ceremony and reception as mandated by New York State.

Question

What else do we have to do?

Answer

HAVE FUN: This is our TOP priority. We want you all to enjoy yourselves and have the best time in a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment. All the guests will have negative tests or be fully vaccinated. Let’s DO THIS!

For all the days along the way
