Florette and Nic met in Seattle, Washington. Nic had just moved back from Georgia to Seattle when he decided to give dating apps another try. Florette had also recently moved to Seattle and was already thoroughly jaded by dating apps. Thankfully she still decided to give this date one chance and if it failed, she told herself that she would part ways with dating apps forever. Nic did not delay things and quickly asked Florette out on a date. They met at a small bar near downtown Seattle. From the moment that they said Hi to each other, there were sparks flying. The two could not stop laughing and it felt as if time stood still. The night was coming to an end but these two were up for a surprise. The plot thickens! Nic walked Florette back to her car only to find that her car had been towed (Thanks city of Seattle!). Nic jumped to problem solving immediately. He requested an uber, they both went to the towing lot and got the car back. Problem solving on the first date isn't on most people's menu but these two rocked it out like champs! Despite the minor hiccup, they laughed the night away and never stopped going on dates. One year later, Nic proposed to Florette surrounded by family and friends in Dallas, Texas.
