Matthew Heider

Best Man

Matthew and Evan met in college as DJs for KGSM radio and quickly became friends. Despite spending time with most of the country between them, their friendship has never wavered.

Erik Dalhke

Best Man

Erik has been one of Evan's best friends since they were 15 years old, when they met at school and bonded over a mutual love of video games and the outdoors. Their passion for camping led them to spend 5 years leading backpacking and canoe trips together.

Jordan VanDyke

Groomsman

Evan met Jordan as his sister's boyfriend, though Evan didn't realize that's what Jordan was at the time. Despite the awkward meeting, he was more than happy to be calling Jordan a brother (in-law) just a few years later.

Matt Sedivec

Groomsman

Matt is Nic's younger, yet taller brother. He's excited to teach Evan how to deer hunt in the future and go fishing together along the Mississippi river.

Avian and the bride met on Chameleon Theatre Circle's production of The Who's Tommy. (2011) A mutual love of theatre, sarcasm, cats, books, movies, and good food created a truly strong bond.

Rick Adams

Rick and I (Nic) met at the University of Iowa while working on the 10 minute play festival. Over a decade later and still one of my best friends!

Caity and the bride met while working at Shane Co. You'll often find the two of them on a brewery patio, with pad thai take out, and occasionally rearranging each other's living rooms.
