They officially met during their sophomore year of high school, one was staying after school for a study hall session and the other was staying after for detention (knowing the two, you could probably assume who stayed after for what). Shortly after they met, a close friendship would begin and it all started with a secret handshake...they have been inseparable ever since. From high school --> college --> graduate school --> careers --> engagement --> marriage & to many, many more adventures!

A few days before Nic's birthday and their planned trip to Charleston, SC, they spent an evening out to dinner with some close family members at a local farm to table restaurant. The next morning, Dan pitched the idea of taking their pup, Benny to the park with some family. This park is a special/familiar place they would often visit when growing up. After some discussion, off they went. The family took their pup, Benny to the dog park and began testing out Nic's new camera. After spending some time with the dogs, Dan asked if they wanted to take a walk around the pond. While some close family members offered to take pictures of the (almost engaged) couple, Dan pulled Nic aside. Dan began expressing his love and got down on one knee asking Nic to marry him. In complete shock, nodding her head yes, the couple then shared a long, warm hug and heard a loud crowd cheering nearby. More close friends and family members surprised and joined in on the celebration with the newly engaged couple. It's been a long time coming, and they are BEYOND excited to celebrate this next chapter in their lives with you. They will marry where their story began, in Goshen, NY!
