Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM. Please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to allow time for parking and the short walk across the park to the Pavilion.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. The ceremony will be in open air outside the pavilion, while the reception will take place under the covered pavilion.
Our wedding calls for a garden party/dressy casual dress code. Since our venue is an outdoor covered space, we want you to look fabulous while staying comfortable. For women, we recommend sundresses, skirts, or dressy jumpsuits. Men can opt for short-sleeved dress shirts paired with lightweight slacks or khakis. To ensure your comfort, we suggest avoiding dark colors that absorb heat. If you'd like to complement our theme, embrace spring and summer colors – think bright pinks, yellows, light greens, purples, and soft blues!
Yes! The park has flushable bathrooms a short walk from the pavilion.
We will have an open bar for cocktail hour and the reception. The park district does not allow alcohol on the property, so please do not bring any in. We have received a special permit that allows our bartending service to serve you. Please bring your ID as the park district requires guests who will be drinking to wear wristbands after having IDs checked.
