How do I get from Dublin Airport to Bellingham Castle?

Answer

You have a couple of options: -Bus: Take the Expressway Route 100X directly from Dublin Airport to Dundalk (approx. 1 hour) -Taxi: A direct taxi ride from the airport is about 60 kilometers and takes roughly 40 minutes

Will there be transportation between the hotels and the ceremony?

Answer

If you’re staying at the Fairways Hotel, transportation to and from the venue will be arranged for you. For guests staying elsewhere, there are several local taxi services available. If needed, the concierge at Bellingham Castle will also be happy to help arrange a taxi.

What time can we arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm on September 7th, 2025. Check in is from 3:00pm; while the staff at Bellingham Castle will do their best to check you in early, it is not always possible. Please aim to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the ceremony. If you arrive before 2:00 pm, staff will kindly direct you to a nearby café in the village while final preparations are being made.

Will there be time to get ready at the Castle before the ceremony?

Answer

There won’t be time to change at the Castle, so please come ready!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No formal dress code, but in Ireland it’s typical for guests to wear suits and dresses to a wedding. And it’s a good idea to bring a layer for later in case it gets chilly in the evening.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your support and presence at our wedding means the world to us — that’s the biggest gift of all, so please don’t feel you need to give anything else. If you’d like to contribute to our honeymoon, you can do so through Revolut: revolut.me/niamhz4vj. We really appreciate it! If you wish to give us a card, a secure postbox will be available in the foyer of the Castle.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are aiming for outdoors, but conscious of the famous Irish weather, it may be relocated to inside. Guests will be informed on the day.

Can I take photos of the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests not to take any pictures until the reception. We have professionals who will make sure the moment is captured for everyone.

Can I bring my own alcohol to the venue?

Answer

Please don't as we will be fined by the venue! The bar will be open late.

I have a food allergy— who should I contact?

Answer

If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions we should know of feel free to email or message either of us and we will let the venue staff know.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to accommodate all of our closest family and friends, we ask that you please only bring those listed on your invitation.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We have a very small number of junior guests attending the wedding however due to number restrictions, we kindly ask that only those named on the wedding invitations attend on the day.
