Travel Checklist

Follow this checklist to make sure you're all set with international travel!
- Get your passport; it's your ticket to fun!
- Arrange international data with your mobile provider
- Inform your bank about your travel plans. NOTE: always pay in the local currency (EUR) when using your credit card
- Barcelona heavily regulates its taxis, they're everywhere, all the time, and fairly priced. Don't bother with Uber.
- The metro system is also great
- No need to worry about Covid vaccine checks
- Almost everyone speaks English in Barcelona
- Get a European travel adapter, and maybe a portable power bank charger
- Barcelona is very safe, but famous for pickpockets. Keep your belongings close.
- Purchase flights to Barcelona Airport (code: BCN). It's very close to the city. Get a taxi, or rent a car at the airport
- If you want to rent a car, you’ll need a passport, drivers license, and if you're staying in the city, a plan for parking. Check with your car insurance to see if it covers rentals!
