Sorka and Niala met in February of 2022. When they decided to make a dating profile on the Bumble app, neither imagined they would meet the love of their life. They didn't think they had time for that kind of commitment. Sorka was in his 4th year of medical school at the University of Arizona, studying and working around the clock, and Niala was wrapping up her contract as a Phoenix TV Reporter, getting ready to make the next big move in her career.
When Sorka saw her profile, he thought she was the most beautiful woman ever. When Niala saw he was smart, handsome, and athletic she knew they would be a match.
When they met at a rooftop bar for their date, they were in awe of how much they had in common: 1st generation Americans, with big dreams. Within days Sorka invited Niala on a Valentine's Day date, and told her she would be the first woman to meet his family.
2.5 years later, he kept every promise, and proposed to her at the spot they ended their 1st date with a kiss.
