Niah and David matched on Hinge in May 2023. David a first-year at Kellogg, and Niah was freshly back from Israel and plotting her way into the same school. His opening line was "What's your favorite pasta shape?" It worked...and yes, she has a favorite (radiatori). At Kellogg, your significant other is called your "JV" (joint venture), and David likes to remind Niah that she was his JV before he was officially hers. Their first date was at Cupitol in Evanston, but it took a few more dates before they discovered one of the more important compatibilities: they both eat kiwis with the skin on. Eight countries, two Kellogg degrees, and a shared love of Evanston later, David proposed at the Lily Pond in Lincoln Park in September 2025. They're building a Jewish life together, chasing the next adventure, and getting ready to trade Evanston for the city with a wedding on June 19, 2027. Niah and David can't wait to celebrate with you!
