FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Our wedding ceremony will be reminiscent of a beautiful starry night, so we ask guests to dress in blues, purples, silvers, and greys. PLEASE refrain from wearing white, as the bride will be wearing that color.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kiddos, however we kindly ask all guests NOT to bring children. The only children that will be in attendance are Nia and Tavon's children and siblings. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Are plus ones allowed?

Answer

Due to the nature of this event, we are committed to filling this space with people who genuinely love and support us. If we have decided that your plus one meets the criteria we have privately set, they will be listed when you RSVP on the website. We humbly ask you not to bring a plus one that hasn’t been approved by either bride or groom. Thank you!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes. Please see the 'Schedule' page on this website.

Question

Can i attend the pre and post-reception events if I'm not attending the reception?

Answer

We warmly welcome you to join us for our pre- and post-reception celebrations! While our reception will be an intimate gathering, we're excited to share the entire wedding weekend with our loved ones. Any event marked as "open" on our Schedule page is an opportunity for friends and family to connect and celebrate with us. Simply reach out to either the bride or groom to confirm your attendance at the events you'd like to join.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please fill out the Jotform listed on your invitation to inform us of any dietary restrictions and/or food allergies. We will not have ANY nut dishes, or desserts as several guests are allergic.
