What's the best way to RSVP?

As some of you might have seen, our wedding website has a "RSVP" section to conveniently inform us about your attendance.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

Bulgaria is known for its long and warm summers. We are expecting temperature highs around 32°C (90°F) and lows around 15°C (59°F). Please keep in mind that it might cool down quicker due to the venue's remote location.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the space limitations of our venue, we have to limit the guest list to those who were explicitly mentioned in the offical invite.

Answer

As we're getting married, we thought it would be great to move into a brand new home - we really cannot wait! As wedding gifts are bulky and we're a little short on space, some money would be the ideal gift to help us buy our place!

Sofia features a vast public transportation network with multiple well-connected metros, buses and trams. The city center of Sofia is very walkable and worth the stroll to soak in the atmosphere. What are common taxi services?

Answer

Sofia does not yet have Uber or Lyft services. The most popular taxi companies are "TaxiMe" and "Yellow Cab", both available for Android and iOS.

How should I pay for things/what currency do I use?

Answer

The currency is the Bulgarian Lev. You will want to either withdraw money from an ATM, or convert your euros/dollars into levs. Many places do accept card payments, but Bulgaria still uses cash only in many places.
