Nhi's side: My friend sent me Andersen's profile on a dating app and my first impression was that he had a nice smile. I had some doubt about one picture with him curling 7.5 lb wearing a Santa Hat that apparently he used for his Christmas card, but I liked his profile anyway. After one cheesy pick up line that was more of a self-compliment and a failed invitation to desserts, we had a very interesting first date at Guisados with many funny moments that we still laugh about from time to time. Another few dates and hours spent driving back and forth between Santa Monica and La Habra, we became a couple! Andersen’s side: I came across Nhi’s profile in Coffee Meets Bagel. She liked my profile and I told her that she had good taste in men. She told me she was a PT and I asked her about an elbow problem at the time and she recommended that I amputate. That’s when I knew I had to have a date with her. We met on what was one of the most unique first dates I’ve ever had and she told me she had a great time and would like to see me again. We met again for a second date and at the end of that date we had our first kiss. She joked that I needed to work on my kissing and I said that then she should give me a second chance and have a third date with me. We’ve been together ever since.

Nhi's side: It was our third day in London. That morning, thanks to jet lag, I was struggling with being hangry, sleepless, and caffeine-deprived. But we made it to a garden overlooking London. It was so pretty! Andersen made me sit down to watch a video...and it was a video of us, what?! And the rest is history. Andersen’s side: I knew I wanted to do in the Sky Garden in London so I made a reservation for it weeks before. The Sky Garden reminded me a lot of our first trip to the Cloud Forest of Costa Rica. I hid the ring in my backpack and guarded that backpack as if my life depended on it the whole plane ride and while we were travelling. I made a video of all the stuff we’ve done together that I showed her once we arrived at the Sky Garden, got down on one knee, and asked her if she would spend the rest of her life with me and she said yes!
