This is my first Vietnamese wedding. What should I expect?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be a Catholic mass celebrated in both Vietnamese and English. During the reception, the bride and groom will "chào bàn," which is the Vietnamese custom of visiting each table to personally thank the guests for their well wishes and to receive any cards and monetary gifts. Each table will select a representative to give a quick congratulatory toast to the bride and groom.

Can I bring a date or plus one?

Ooh la la. To keep our guest list on track, please refer to the guest(s) listed on your wedding invitation. Feel free to contact us with any questions or clarifications. We may have made a mistake on our end and would want to remedy the situation!

When should I RSVP?

Please respond no later than October 15, 2019 so we can accommodate all our guests!

What should I wear?

Answer

We hope our wedding is a fun excuse for each person to get dressed up in his or her favorite formal or cocktail attire. Wear what makes you feel fabulous, unless it's an all-white gown!

What type of food will be served?

Answer

Make sure you come with an empty belly! There will be a seven-course Vietnamese dinner, desserts, cake, and drinks. If you have any dietary concerns, please contact the bride/groom.

For those coming from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

If you do not have accommodations set up, please feel free to contact the bride/groom or their families regarding accommodations and suggestions of where to stay while in NOLA <3
