Our love story
As the teaching assistant and authority in the Lab for chem 111B Ryan sought to flourish as a teacher and researcher. Hoping to cultivate in his students a passion for the sciences to last a lifetime, or at least long enough to pass the class. Which was Kaitlyn’s only goal upon entering the lab room. Not realizing how cute she looks with no effort. Once the semester ended, Ryan felt compelled to ask Kaitlyn out.
Their first year together was spent preparing Kaitlyn for her grueling application process to get into a Physician’s Assistant program while Ryan worked to obtain his M.S in chemistry. Over that year Ryan fell madly in love with Kaitlyn’s beauty and work effort, and her wonderful culture. After she finished a grueling rotation in general surgery, Ryan set a plan in motion. As the sun set at the beach, Ryan led Kaitlyn to a white cloth clad table with a bouquet of sunflowers sitting in the center. There, waited a small white box, and the most important question in the world.
Ryan was 30 minutes late to our first date at the Block. But he made up for it by spending 40 minutes to help Kaitlyn find her car at the end of the night.
Ryan got introduced to Kaitlyn's culture for the first time. Kaitlyn took Ryan to a beautiful temple in La Hacienda during lunar new year.
Ryan and Kaitlyn drove 140 miles to Coachella to volunteer for one of the healthcare events.

Their first out of state trip together!
3 years and 9 months later, Ryan asked the big question. Kaitlyn said "yes".
Ryan and Kaitlyn had a great time doing their engagement photoshoot at San Juan Capistrano.
The couple is ready! Let's get them married!!!
