Imagine attending Middle AND high school with your future soul mate and you had no clue! We probably passed each other in the hallways countless times without ever making eye contact or knowing the other existed.God has a way of making sure every thing happens at the right time- not our time but his time. We both graduated class of 2014 and Anne-marie moved to California for college soon after. Fast forward 4 years and some change we notice each others online accounts through a mutual friend. I(Steven)didn’t think I’d ever actually hang out with a girl in Cali let alone be in a relationship with her 2100 miles away. I(Anne-marie) my focus was surviving pre-med, and teaching full time.There was no space for a relationship,especially a long distance one. I was also completely unaware the really cute guy I noticed,also noticed me. Safe to say Cupid’s arrow hit us both when we were least expecting. New Year’s Eve-December 31st 2018 few minutes from New Year’s Day,Steven slid in the DM’s and gave a heart fluttering complement, and so it began.After going back and forth online for a while we made it official in May of 2019. Long distance kicked our butts but it also gave us the chance to fall in love with the best part of each other while dreaming about all the things we’ve wanted out of life.2020 we were no longer long distance and Since then it has been the most rewarding experience and adventure. 2022 Anne-marie said YES! We can’t wait to say YES to each other and celebrate with our family and friends!
