Somehow, we managed to spend most of our lives not meeting, despite living just 8 minutes apart and going to the same elementary, middle, high school, and college. Then, in the ultimate plot twist, we finally crossed paths in Denver. One first date, a deep dive into Dragon Ball Z, and suddenly, we were inseparable. It took decades, multiple near-misses, and a completely different state, but hey, we finally got there.
