We're getting married!

I met Tony in my final year of residency in Tampa. He was rotating through my clinic and was always (for some reason) in my exam room. I thought he was so cute! When his month-long rotation was over, he continued to visit the clinic, leaving me origami cranes as a sign he was around. We started texting constantly, and he asked me to boba on our first date. The rest is history!

In November 2022, we began talking about ring designs. So, of course, I became suspicious of every time Tony and I visited each other after that. He came to Denver over New Year's Eve and I was convinced he was going to ask me then. But, no. He visited again in late January 2023, with a friend reunion of more than a dozen people. So I was sure he would do it when everyone was in town. People left. Still no ring! At the end of that same week, we had plans to go on a mini-vacation at Copper Mountain ski resort. We had a beautiful and fun time playing in the snow and cozying up by the fire in the cabin. The last night there, I told Tony I wasn't going to wear any makeup the next day because it was simply going to be a day of travel back home. On the morning of February 3rd, 2023, Tony woke up before me and suggested that I put on make up, fix my hair, and wear the sparkly sweater I brought. So I did. We began to drive in the opposite direction from home (which I was oblivious to), to a spectacular vantage point at Clinton Gulch, covered in glittery and untouched snow. He took me out to the ridge of the reservoir and, with a shaking voice, asked me to be his wife. And, of course, I said YES!
