Question

Will I need to bring cash or card for the bar?

Answer

Let's just say... don't worry about that :) Drinks will be on us!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes! Due to the size of the wedding, we ask that you bring just 1 plus one and only adults. We ask that you write your plus one’s full name when you do your online RSVP so we can make sure to make his/her name placecard :)

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code will be black tie optional. That means a formal gown/dress for women and tux (or best suit) for men.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that everyone arrive by 4:30 pm (4:45 pm at THE latest) so we can promptly begin the ceremony at 5 pm sharp. If anyone knows Michael's and my pharmacist personalities, we like things going as planned and everyone coming in on time. :)

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will only be able to accommodate family-related children at our wedding due to the large headcount. Also, we want to make sure all the adults can get as much fun out of our open bar!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block for 30 rooms at Sheraton Houston Brookhollow Hotel (only 3ish miles away!). When you book, mention the "Nguyen and Liu Wedding". Sheraton Houston Brookhollow Hotel 3000 N Loop W, Houston, TX 77092 (713-688-0100 Other nice nearby hotel options include the Omni, Royal Sonesta, and Post Oak Hotel (WARNING: there is A LOT of construction near the Galleria and along 610 loop. There WILL be traffic no matter what time of day it is. Remember, this is Houston)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

The Bell Tower on 34th will be providing COMPLIMENTARY parking! Yay!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Crate and Barrel and West Elm. We will also have a secured box for paper money at the welcome table during cocktail hour (IYKYK). We kindly ask if you do decide to buy us a gift through our registry, please mail it to our home so we do not risk losing any gifts after the wedding :)

What do I do if my online RSVP is not working?

Answer

No worries! You can mail us back the physical RSVP cards! Please include your name and your plus one if you have one. You can also reach out to us to let us know and we can RSVP on your behalf too :)
