Matron of Honor
Meet my little sister Stacy — my lifelong partner in chaos. We somehow have the exact same personality, which means we’re constantly saying the same thing at the same time. At this point, it’s honestly more of a talent than a coincidence. Now we’re taking on motherhood together, with Stacy as a brand new mom and me adding baby number two to the crew while big brother Kai already runs the show. Our babies are only two months apart, so this next chapter truly feels like it was meant for us to do side by side. From growing up together to now raising babies together, Stacy has always been right there beside me, and there’s no one I’d rather have standing next to me on my wedding day.
Best Man
Every wedding needs a reliable best man, and luckily I found one living in my own house. Kai may technically be my future stepson, but he’s been family long before the wedding plans started. He’s funny, smart, and always looking out for me — whether it’s warning me something has gluten in it or teaming up with me to lovingly gang up on Emily. He’s an incredible big brother to Cade, keeps life entertaining, and somehow always manages to keep me on my toes. There’s nobody else I’d rather have standing beside me on the big day.
Officiant
Tyler and I have been best friends since elementary school, which means he’s been around for almost every important stage of my life — and unfortunately for me, he remembers all of them. One of the best things about Tyler is that no matter how much time passes or how far apart life takes us, nothing ever changes. Even though he and Babs live in Boston now — and we definitely wish they lived a lot closer — every time we’re together it feels easy and familiar, like no time has passed at all. When Em met Tyler and Babs, they instantly felt like family. And having Tyler stand up here with us today means more to me than I can put into words. He’s one of the most loyal and important people in my life, and there honestly couldn’t be a more meaningful person to marry us today. Although knowing Tyler as long as I have… I probably should be a little nervous about what he might say next.
Ring Bearer
Our baby and tiniest VIP, who will always be the center of our world. His job is to be cute, steal hearts, and hopefully make it down the aisle before nap time… no promises though.
