I technically knew Susanna and Albert from high school and even went to college with Susanna, but we never hung out because I was intimidated by Susanna's modeling pics and Albert's 90's Hong Kong gangster haircut. Fortunately, after college Susanna and I got to know each other better through a mutual friend and a mutual love for art. You can imagine my surprise upon finding out what a bubbly and friendly girl she was! Through the years I came to understand how Albert and Susanna complement one another. While Susanna is a dreamer, Albert is very pragmatic. I think this will one day translate to Susanna being able to realize her goal of becoming a housewife. There is never a dull moment with the two of them around, and they truly have a remarkable ability to bring friends together.

I met Albert and Susanna during my first week at Columbia. Our friendship was solidified the moment we bonded over Popeyes fried chicken. I considered both of them to be an essential part of my family and I expect it to stay that way pretty much forever. I’m thrilled to share in their special day and watch them grow together.

Albert and Susanna are important people in my life - they are the first friends I made when I started high school at Brooklyn Tech. It all started when I met them separately in Orchestra. Albert and I have always shared similar interests when it came to video games or sports like handball. I always treasure the days we had spent hanging out, from the jogs we went on from Caesars Bay to all of our G train hangouts going home, to our trips together snowboarding. Susanna was in many of my classes throughout Tech from Chinese, Orchestra, and Physics. From the days of totally killing our performances during seasonal concertos with Ms. Lapierre to singing horribly or wonderfully in karaoke to sharing our triumphs in our victories in dragonboat. I helped Susanna move during a hurricane!

Susanna and I first met in a graphic arts program in college. I don’t even know how we became friends because she was in class only 10% of the time, but we did! The first time that I met Albert I thought he was mean because he wouldn’t let Susanna have dessert! After few years of paddling together, dinners, and general shenanigans, I got to know them better as a couple. I finally understood that without Albert, Susanna would succumb to her insatiable appetite for sugar. Vice versa, without Susanna, Albert would be stuck to his gaming chair. They truly belong together and I’m happy to be a part of their special day.

I met both Albert and Susanna in high school. I believe it was after a half-day and we went to Coney Island for good fun and good eats. We've been on so many trips and journeys together since. Academically, traveling, virtually and most importantly gastronomically. What stands out most about Albert and Susanna is their proclivity for doing things with each other and others. Albert regularly invites all of us for online gaming as a team and to go out for a jog when the weather is nice and so on and so forth. Susanna hosts nights of painting and making Vietnamese spring rolls and so on and so forth. And among all these activities, I've always enjoyed the brilliance and humor they bring with them each and every time.

Susanna and Lisa met at one of Albert’s homework group at Columbia, where Susanna was an honorary student! They made it far from microwaveable ramen and deli steaks. From motivating themselves to rock climb (okay maybe that was just Lisa) for the post-climb steak to eating way too much hot pot, they can always count on each other to be partners in crime on the next food adventure.

I actually met Albert first - he hired me for my first job in the US back in 2014. I met Susanna shortly after at the work holiday party and then every time she came by the office I enjoyed spending time with her. Eventually, I became better friends with Susanna than I was with Albert, and we started to go to yoga together and we would have lunches to commiserate in the sucky jobs we had at the time. I am so excited to celebrate this special day with them and see how they are moving one step closer to their dreams!
