Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Ngosu Ndiwane

Maid of Honor

Ngosu is my little sister and one of my favorite people in the entire world. We've shared so many amazing experiences over our lifetime. Some of my favorite memories of us growing up are of us going to the pool and park almost every day in the summer and going to summer camp together! I've always admired Ngosu's sense of style and creativity. She actually did my hair and makeup for my surprise engagement! Though we grew up in Boston, Ngosu now calls Dallas, Texas home.

Rachelle Cadet

Bridesmaid

Rachelle and I were coresidents during my dental residency. Quite literally, we were pushed to our limits that year and it was a blessing to have her by my side through it all. I always tell her I would not have survived that year without her. Rachelle's love for God is incredibly encouraging and is one of my favorite things about her. In addition to this, Rachelle always recommends the best books and restaurants. Without her knowledge, she actually helped to plan a lot of the activities of my engagement weekend!

Diandra Franks

Bridesmaid

Diandra and I were classmates throughout elementary, middle, and high school. We share a love of sports and some of my favorite memories with Diandra are from when we played softball and basketball together. Diandra and I were even on our school's Step Team together! Even though we both took academics very seriously, we occasionally enjoyed goofing off in class and got in our fair share of trouble for the silliest things. Diandra is a lawyer in Boston now and I could not be more proud of everything she has accomplished.

Sophie Johnson

Bridesmaid

Sophie and I grew up going to church together and I have known her for as long as I can remember. We participated in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School together with our church and would always have so much fun. Some of my favorite memories with Sophie are from when we were in Youth Group together with our siblings - the laughs were endless. Sophie is one of the funniest people I know and a conversation with her will brighten anyone's day. Sophie and her husband, Nick, even went engagement ring shopping with Rohan and helped him pick out my engagement ring!

Rose Obarisiagbon

Bridesmaid

Rose and I went to college together at Brandeis University. Pretty much since day one, Rose was like a big sister on campus. She patiently listened to my crazy ideas, encouraged me when I was frustrated, and advised me when I felt lost. Rose made my college experience so much better and my favorite thing to do was visit her dorm and just chill. Rose is the friend who tells it like it is and does not hold back! I love her so much and it is an honor to have her by my side on my wedding day.

Jasmine Shields

Bridesmaid

Jasmine and I met in church a couple years after I moved to New York City. We were in a Connect Group together and since this was around the time I first joined the church, Jasmine was among one of the first friends I made. Jasmine is extremely social and I have actually met some of the best friends in NYC through her. She has an eye for fashion, and you can always catch her in a statement piece or something bright and vibrant. Jasmine is a creative at heart and one of the things I love about her is that she is fearless and always willing to put herself out there!

Jelani Williamson

Best Man

Jelani is my little brother and best friend. He is one of the smartest and most driven people I have ever met. He is an incredible thinker and is very diligent. He also was an amazing athlete and has a remarkable sense of fashion. We share multiple interests and have a lot in common. He has been my right hand man since he was born so naturally he is my best man.

Steve Atwater

Groomsman

Steve was my roommate during training camp at Georgetown. He was the one who introduced me to the rest of the team. During the summer we used to train together in preparation for football season. Steve has a great sense of humor and encourages everyone. He is a very positive person and he takes joy in the success of others.

Jordan Blackwell

Groomsman

I met Jordan at Georgetown during a GU Brothers for Christ meeting. We eventually served on the GU Brothers for Christ Board together. He also was my barber throughout college and after. We roomed together for my final year of undergrad. I can’t even count the number of times we have gotten into deep conversations or debates. Whether it be about basketball, faith or life in general, he always has something insightful to say.

Mose Hogan

Groomsman

I met Mose playing football at Georgetown. We also lived together in NYC. Mose is great friend because he challenges me and pushes me to be my best. Since I moved to New York he has been a source of wisdom for me. We often times discuss our faith and professional careers. He has never put a limit on his aspirations and doesn’t allow me to limit myself either.

Maduka Nwanekezi

Groomsman

I met Maduka at Bryant University while playing on the football team. Maduka has a great sense of humor and style. He is confident and very outgoing. He is easily one of the most personable people I have ever met. He is easy to talk to and makes others feel welcome. He is a very driven person and pushes me to reach my goals.

Drew Schaeffer

Groomsman

I met Drew in science class and played freshman basketball with him at Good Counsel. We hit it off immediately. Drew has always been there for me. In high school we had most of our classes together. Drew is very selfless and has a strong faith. He has great dedication in giving back to the community.
