Maid of Honor
My My is Nghi’s sister, best friend, and role model all in one. Growing up, they did everything together. They’ve shared clothes, snacks, and countless late-night talks. Of course, like any siblings, they had their fair share of fights over silly things, but the love between them has always been stronger than any argument. My My was the one who always had the best stories about school and boys, and Nghi would quietly listen, completely fascinated. Even back then, Nghi looked up to her big sister and still does to this day. Having My My stand beside her on such a special day is something Nghi is so grateful for. She wouldn’t want to walk through this chapter without the sister who has been there through it all.
Groomsman
First up is Andrew, Quoc’s younger brother. Growing up, these two couldn’t have been more different. Andrew was poised, organized, and disciplined — the kid with a magic kit in one hand and a book on gemology in the other. Meanwhile, Quoc was temperamental and did whatever felt right in the moment, usually involving sports, girls, and questionable decisions. But over the years, despite their differences, they grew closer as the oldest brothers in the family. These days, they share a bond built on late-night fast food runs, good conversations, and a mutual appreciation for how far they’ve both come. Quoc’s honored to have Andrew standing with him today.
Bridesmaid
Reagan has been Nghi’s best friend since 6th grade. She was one of the first people to make Nghi feel welcome when she moved from Vietnam to the US. From day one, Reagan helped her find her way, learn new things, and always made sure she felt included and loved. Since then, they have made countless memories together. They have traveled, gotten lost in new cities, and laughed until their stomachs hurt. Reagan is Nghi’s chosen sister, favorite travel buddy, forever hype girl, and the person who can always make her laugh, no matter what. Nghi is so grateful for every moment they have shared, from the ordinary days to all of their adventures. She cannot imagine walking down the aisle without Reagan by her side. If you want to hear their best stories, just find Reagan on the dance floor because she knows them all.
Groomsman
Next up is John Tran, Quoc’s second youngest brother. Much like his brother, John has always believed he’s the center of attention — but the truth is, he kind of is. John’s currently in his final year of medical school while also serving as an Army officer. And for those wondering… yes, ladies, he’s single. Growing up, John and Quoc shared a love for basketball, and even though life has pulled them in different directions, with John’s demanding schedule, moments like today are cherished even more. Quoc’s proud to have his brother here standing beside him.
Groomsman
And last, we’ve got Joseph, the youngest and the baby of the family. Fun fact — when Joseph was born, Quoc was a senior in high school. So naturally, everywhere they went, people assumed the baby Quoc was holding was his. Out of all the brothers, Joseph is the one most like Quoc, which, frankly, terrifies him. They share the same temperament, interests, and questionable decision-making skills. These days, you’ll find them on Saturday nights glued to a UFC fight, but don’t let the bond fool you — they’re also college football rivals now, with Joseph proudly repping Texas A&M while Quoc holds it down for LSU. It’s a sibling rivalry that’s only getting better with time, and Quoc’s honored to have his little brother by his side today
Bridesmaid
Marianne may be Quoc’s sister, but from the very first time they met, she made Nghi feel like family. Always warm and welcoming, she is the kind of person who checks in just to say hello, offers a listening ear, and makes sure Nghi never feels alone. In a fun twist of fate, Nghi later learned that her older sister, My My, had actually crossed paths with Marianne years before—they were classmates at the University of St. Thomas. It feels as if their connection was meant to be all along. Nghi is also especially grateful for the way Marianne always took care of Quoc, long before Nghi and Quoc ever started dating. That love and care mean the world to her. Since then, Marianne and Nghi’s bond has only deepened. Marianne has become more than a sister-in-law—she is a trusted friend, a true cheerleader, and someone Nghi can always count on for both laughter and unwavering support. Nghi is deeply thankful for Marianne’s love and kindness throughout their journey together. She cannot imagine this day without Marianne by her side.
Bridesmaid
From the very beginning, Quoc’s sister Rosemary welcomed Nghi with open arms. At first, Nghi was a little intimidated by her—but she soon realized it was only because Rosemary had always been so protective of Quoc. Once Nghi understood that, she quickly came to appreciate Rosemary’s kindness, thoughtfulness, and ability to make others feel at ease. Those qualities made Nghi feel right at home in the family, and Rosemary has remained a comforting presence and steady source of encouragement ever since. To Nghi, Rosemary feels like another older sister—one who shares her love for the mountains, and somehow loves them even more than she does. She is not just a sister-in-law, but a genuine friend—someone Nghi feels fortunate to laugh with, lean on, and share life’s moments with. Nghi is also most grateful to Rosemary for looking out for her future husband while they were growing up—keeping him out of trouble (well, at least as much as possible). And beyond that, Rosemary’s intensity and passion serve as a constant reminder to Nghi always to chase her dreams and defend her family fiercely. Nghi is deeply thankful for Rosemary’s love and support, and she cannot imagine this special day without Rosemary by her side.
Groomsman
Mitchell has been there since the very beginning, and Quoc couldn’t ask for a more loyal brother-in-law. He’s the most selfless person Quoc knows—always putting others first and constantly reminding him there’s always more to give and do for those around you. Through good times and really hard times, Mitchell has always been there for Quoc, no questions asked. Back in the day, they bonded over flag football when their knees still worked. These days, their time is spent chasing down the best food spots, talking Rockets basketball, and sneaking in the occasional cigar (when Marianne allows it).
Groomsman
Franklin is more than just a brother-in-law—he’s Quoc’s partner for UFC nights, BBQ adventures, and another trusted cigar buddy. He’s the one who always reminds Quoc that life is more than just work and to slow down and enjoy it along the way. Franklin was also the very first family member Quoc told about Nghi. Together with Mitchell, he rounds out Quoc’s cigar circle—proof that some of the best conversations happen over smoke and laughter.
