It all started at the park. It was the first fall of the COVID pandemic and the only thing to do was to be outdoors. As he was walking around, he saw this beauty sitting there, so he cautiously approached her. Then, when he was about a foot away, he pounced. She immediately snapped, barking and growling. This is how Kobe met Luna :). Luckily, in this chance encounter, AJ met Ngan. Their similar schedules brought them to the dog park at the same time every day, but another couple of months passed until AJ finally mustered up the courage to ask Ngan out. Their first date was tapas at Boqueria in Fulton Market and the rest is history...

It's Ngan's birthday and AJ had a whole day planned. The day started with a delicious brunch at Kasama, then took scooters to grab drinks and relax at the rooftop bar at the Robey hotel. For dinner, the plan was to go to Maple and Ash, but first AJ had to help a neighbor on his rooftop terrace. As Ngan and AJ walked out onto to terrace, Ngan asked, "Why is my Mom and family here?" Shouts of "Surprise!" and "Happy Birthday" immediately followed. But the surprise didn't stop there. AJ brought Ngan to a beautiful backdrop so that they would be the first to take pictures. After the first picture, AJ stepped back, said a few words, then dropped to his knee, and in front of both their families and close friends asked "Will you marry me and make me the happiest person alive?" She joyfully said "Yes!" and then "But I still want Maple and Ash!"
