Rachel and Chris first met while attending high school together. They had a casual friendship back then, but - despite Rachel’s crush - their love story didn’t start until years later when they both worked at the same restaurant. After losing touch over the early college years and being reacquainted with each other in 2015, Rachel and Chris became really close friends and began to spend a lot of time together. As time went on and their friendship blossomed, Chris and Rachel let their fears go and knew that they were meant to be something more. Thank God they did, because 10 years later and after surviving their twenties together - they’re engaged to be married! On a warm July 4th evening in 2025, Chris and Rachel went down to the private beach on Little Gasparilla Island to watch the only sunset the island had that week. They were taking photos in front of the beautiful scenery when Chris got down on one knee and asked Rachel for her hand in marriage. Overwhelmed with emotion, but without hesitation, Rachel said, “Yes!” After the proposal, the night was full of fun and fireworks. One they will never forget. Now, as they plan their future together, Rachel and Chris are more in love than ever. They are so excited to embark on this new chapter of their lives, hand in hand, as they prepare to say "I do" and start their happily ever after.
