They met on picture day on the set of Bishop Fenwick's production of Grease. Renée saw Steven walk in with a white t-shirt, jeans, high tops and his hair slicked back "greaser style" and was immediately smitten. Even though she thought he was a hockey player, they learned they had more in common than not. Though their focus in school was completely opposite, their shared interests and Canadian heritage brought them together. After Steven's senior prom in the green Cherokee, Steven asked her to be his and the rest, as they say, is history!
On a beautiful day in Back Bay Steven tricked Renée into thinking they were going to a nice dinner with friends to celebrate their new jobs. While taking a stroll around Boston Public Gardens the two talked about memories they had while living in Boston and Renée even made a comment about taking "Save the Date" photos in the Public Gardens "some day". The pair strolled up to Boston's most beautiful and most photographed street, Acorn Street, where Steven asked if they could move that "some day" closer.
