To the wedding ceremony, no. We have chosen to have a private courthouse wedding, only inviting immediate family members.
Absolutely not! We made this decision for ourselves, we are excited to be married, but a big wedding isn’t something that is important to us. Instead we have opted for a private ceremony, and a large party style reception in the fall.
As soon as we send out invitations, we will update the date for the reception. But until then, we are just saying fall time.
No, we are very considerate of our football loving friends and family. We will do our absolute best to avoid scheduling anything around any of the important games and teams. This means we will probably be scheduling around OSU’s by-week.
Yes! The first part of the evening will be kid friendly but we will ask that any children be taken home by 7:30 pm. After 8, the party will no longer be child friendly, and anyone with a child will be politely asked to leave. We love your children, but we also would love to enjoy some “non-child friendly activities.” 😉
By no means is anyone obligated to bring anything, however we are having a potluck! If you would like to bring a dish or snacks, that would really be appreciated! We will have things prepared, but we look forward to what others bring as well.
