Florio's Grill and Tavern
Looking for great "Up North" food and a laid-back, welcoming vibe? This family-owned tavern and restaurant is a must. Natalie worked here for over 4 years and even had a drink out of the Stanley Cup while on shift (true story!). Don’t be surprised if there’s a hockey game on every TV — it’s part of the charm. Come hungry and ready for good eats, cold drinks, and great company! Pro tip: Saturday night is their famous Prime Rib special — it’s a local favorite and so worth it. Just be sure to make a reservation; it goes fast!
Rapids Brewing Company
If you're looking for a place with amazing food, craft beer, and a great atmosphere, Rapids Brewing Co. is a must-visit! It’s one of Matthew and Natalie’s favorite spots to grab a bite and unwind. The menu features wood-fired pizzas (YUM!!!), creative small plates (delicious smash burgers!), and local brews crafted right on site. They often have live music and a lively, welcoming vibe that captures the spirit of the area.
Bear Ridge Pizza & Pours (LMNO PZ-A)
This cozy local gem is near and dear to our hearts — it’s where Matthew and Natalie first met! (Natalie was sipping on a local cider beer when he walked in.) Bear Ridge offers delicious pizza, wings, salads, and a great selection of drinks in a fun, casual setting. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a relaxed evening, it's definitely worth a visit.
