We're Getting Married!

It was a Thursday morning like any other, Andrew went golfing with his Dad and I was fighting a cold. My sister, Kate, was just getting home for winter break, she convinced me to do some last minute Christmas shopping. I was miserable the entire day, complaining and exhausted. Finally, I convinced Kate to take me home. As I opened the door to my apartment, ready for Nyquil, takeout and a movie, I heard music playing. All of the lights were off and everywhere I looked there were candles. I noticed rose pedals guiding me to the balcony, where I found Andrew standing over a heart of red rose pedals smiling. Quickly I knew this was the moment I had been waiting for the past six years. Andrew got down on one knee and with tears in my eyes, I said, "YES!"
