Thank you in advance for sending your RSVPs by May 1st - right here on the website, or you can give us a call if you prefer.
Help us get the party started as scheduled. Because it is a public place, plan to arrive at 5pm, and not before. The ceremony will be held in the formal gardens and will begin at 5:30pm.
Guests should park at the Welcome Center at Hildene. Please do not try to drive to the mansion. The ceremony will be held a short walk from the welcome center. Directions will be provided to the ceremony site upon arrival. Golf carts will be available.
Dress for a summer garden party! We have called for a beautiful summer day as the ceremony will be taking place in an outdoor garden. In case of light rain, umbrellas will be provided, and there is an indoor setting for hard rain. Dress for a Vermont evening in June (which can be chilly) and prepare to be outside for at least two hours. Ladies, flat-soled shoes or block heels are recommended.
We hope that you can be fully present to witness this important event in our lives! That being said, please holster your phones during the ceremony; there is a prolific photographer documenting the event for us. After the ceremony, photos are encouraged, el natural :)
Yes, a delicious dinner will be served! Orders will be taken table-side, once guests are seated for dinner. There will be vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available. Chef Nick can modify any of the entrees so please let us know ahead of time of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
What's a wedding without refreshments? There will an open bar of wine, beer, seltzer, and cider from 6:00 - 11:00. Soft drinks will be there for hydration as well.
Yes! Catamount Tours. If you need to leave your vehicle at Hildene for the night, there will be an SUV taking trips back and forth to the Manchester area from 9:30 pm - 11 pm. There will also be a mini-bus from 11:30 pm - 12:30 am. Vehicles will be safe until you pick them up the next day.
Hildene is a multidimensional 400+ acre estate, founded by Robert Lincoln in 1905, now a working farm, an outdoor education center, a museum, and a wedding venue. For more fascinating information on Jenny's dream venue, please visit https://hildene.org/
