Robert and Kristin met at an open-mic in Monticello, Minnesota which Robert hosted once a week.  After she walked into the bar and heard his enrapturing rendition of "Change" by Blind Melon, and upon noticing he  also transposed the song into a different key from that of the original composition, Kristin caught herself thinking, "Well, this guy is rad," and the rest is history.
