We're saying I DO!

He kept me on my toes for sure! He knew from the beginning I did not want a proposal on any holiday and especially not my birthday(I know I'm picky lol and of course those fall close together). He kept telling me he was "working" on a project for weeks. I had gone to a late birthday dinner with my family while he stayed back to "work" on this more. When I got back home I yelled for him but he didn't answer. I looked outside, in all the rooms when I finally made it to our bedroom. On our bed was a canvas that had a beautiful saying "We fell asleep together but awake together forever". Of course I thought oh s### I wasn't supposed to come in here and walked back out. As I continued to yell our dog Maple goes back in our room and to the closet. Now I'm thinking what are you doing dog? I walk back in flip on the light and there he is on one knee scaring the s### out of me popping out of our closet(I seriously thought I might throat punch him). Of course I cried and said yes! He said later "I hope this is was everything you hoped for?" Of course I said yes it was perfect as I had no audience just me and the dogs! He then says "Ok good because I knew if I tried to take you somewhere out of the ordinary you would figure out what was going on & you're nosey. HAHA he knows me so well because yes I would have!
